Something new and different...

So, if you know me from my regular blog, you are probably wondering - why am I posting here? Well, I wanted to have a place not connected to that part of my stamping - primarily because I've been wanting to do more work with my Copics. Thus the Stamping Spot was born... and I don't know how often I'll be posting, but if I get time to play, then it'll be as often as possible!

To kick off with my first post here, I did a card for the Copic Creations challenge to use warm colors, along with the Mojo Monday sketch. The image is from Hero Arts - I just thought it was too cute. Of course, I wasn't looking at it and thinking about all the teeny, tiny spaces that would be such a challenge to color with Copics! LOL. The thing I found most difficult about this image was the hair - I wanted blonde and I tried different combinations and techniques for a really long time. Finally the directions here helped me get a look I was happy with. Here's a list of supplies and the Copic colors I used. The little sentiment tag was cut by hand.
